Get involved

The sport runs on the people around it: players, families, coaches, officials and volunteers. There is more than one way in.

Play

If you use a powerchair, you can play. Clubs run taster sessions and you can start in your everyday chair. Age and experience are not barriers.

Other ways to help

Volunteer

Clubs need people for match-day organisation, transport, equipment and administration. No experience required, and no need to know the sport before you start.

Coach

Coaching powerchair football draws on the same principles as any team sport. We can point you towards training and support through our partner bodies.

Referee

Officials are the single biggest constraint on how many fixtures we can run. If you have refereed any sport, or want to learn, we want to hear from you.

Start a club

If there is no club near you, the association will help with setup, affiliation, equipment advice and finding players.

Sponsor or partner

Sponsorship funds hall hire, equipment, officials and international travel. We work with partners who want a real relationship with the sport, not a logo placement.

Donate

The AIPF is a non-profit. Contributions go directly into running competitions and supporting clubs.
